Live From Anaheim......

I'm sitting in the Honda Center in Anaheim and the Oilers and Ducks are tied 1-1 after two periods. Right after the game I have to head to LAX to catch the United Airlines redeye back east, so I won't have time to post later.

You can tell that the fans here are still basking in the afterglow of Anaheim's Stanley Cup win and they are a happy boisterous bunch tonight. The atmosphere is reminiscent of how it felt in Tampa the season after the Lightning won the cup. For those of you who haven't experienced it lately (Toronto and Chicago fans, perhaps), it feels like you are going to win every game, and even if you don't, its OK 'cause WE WON THE STANLEY CUP anyway! The arena has the same design as the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, and even the foghorn after the hone team scores sounds the same here, so I feel right at home.

This is one game that I don't want to see go into OT. I don't they'll hold the plane for me! Next stop is Madison Square Garden in NYC, where I should have some good stories to tell....

So which fans do you think are louder? Kings fans or Ducks fans?

Which stadium was more full?

I just hope that they kept the score of The Red Sox game last night on the jumbo...How was the trip to the airport?

Naturally, the Ducks had to choke at the end, forcing the game to a shootout they lost. Hope you made it to the airport alright...
